Identify and monitor local wildlife : 252462

In the two pictures above we show 1 way to identify and monitor local wildlife.
Each of us were given a map and as we past a animal or group of animals we would stop take the co-ordinates of where we spotted the group of animals and on the maps that were given to us we had to plot the spot.
The way we identified and monitored local wildlife was by vehicle (Student Cruiser.)That is one of the ways to do it…
The other ways are by flying, walking, bicycle etc.
When monitoring local wildlife there is certain things that must be recorded.
1. Type of animal
2. Quantity of animal
3. Adult or young
4. Location
5. Date
6. Spoor
7. Habitat
8. Food
9. Dung
10. Male or Female
11. Plant population around habitat
The reason why local wildlife must be monitored is to reduce over popularity of the animal species on your farm, this way you can manage growth of plants and trees. Your farm will easily be manageable if monitoring is done correctly and accurately.
This way you can also keep record of game on your farm, for example reasons for losing animal like maybe predators on farm increased or is starting to turn into adult predators.
Your monitoring method will be affected by the sort of game for instants if you have a Farm with the Big 5 you wouldn’t use a bicycle or walk to monitor wildlife.
When monitoring local wildlife habitats has a big role for example if you want to count the Oryx Gazelle you would move into a more denser bush (Tambuki) because they are animals that likes to make them more scares.
On the other hand with like your Bles buck you would search in a very open piece of field (Springbuck flats).
Spoors also make monitoring very easy, that is if you know your spoors.
When searching for Impala you would look at the spoor, track it and most cases you would see where they are mostly active and will also start to realize where they like grazing most of the time that is why it so important to record almost everything when monitoring local wildlife.
